CDDL has its own facility and well organized training program to construct personnel more equipped and efficient. CDDL also offers wide range of training facility to different Universities like BUET, KUET, CUET etc., Poly-Technique Institutes like BIMT, Marine Diesel, Civil Marine Academy etc. as a part of socio-corporate responsibility.

CDDL provides few uninterrupted facilities within the shipyard premises. Such as Water, Electricity, Gas, Mess, Playing Field, School, Bank, Post Office, Canteen and food, Medical, Accommodations for Worker, supervisor, foremen & officer, Worker rest, recreation & dining room, Officer rest, Ponds & fishing points, Mosque & Prayer room.
